CHOCOLATE: You want me Lady don’t you? You want me! YOU WANT ME! LADY: No chocolate, I do not want you, for after pleasure there is SICKNESS and there is GUILT. CHOCOLATE: That, Lady is the REASON FOR MY EXISTENCE. Are you to deny me the REASON FOR MY EXISTENCE? LADY: No, chocolate. I would not do that. CHOCOLATE: Thank you. Twitter to Facebook

Submitted by faii on Wednesday, 11 February 20092 Comments

Facebook and TwitterAs with setting up my new blog, i’ve been trying multiple ways to bring everything together – facebook with twitter, iphone with wordpress, rss/feedburner with blog.

Thought i’d run through how to post from twitter to facebook.

Simply posting everything:

Being a newbie, this was what i used to link my twitter feed with facebook – Twitter App for Facebook.

This apparently chucks everything i post into facebook’s status message. Considering that twitter encourages one to post every so often during the day, it has taken my usually once-every-several-days updating of my facebook status to once every few hours. My friends must be weirded out, or at least mildly irritated with all that spamming.

Selective posting:

In order to link your twitter account and decide only which tweets make it to your status message, you’d have to use a facebook application such as this.

Selective Twitter App for Facebook

Just by simply ending the tweets i want as my facebook status message with an #fb, i can have at least a degree of control over the posting.

Spam no more!

EDIT: I’ve written a brief tutorial on linking twitter to facebook via the facebook application above. Check it out here.
