However, such a substitution has to be validated by a proper election, which the country can ill afford now. Divisive politics (as seen by the MPs’ expenditure scandal) is overall destabilising.
Even if the Conservatives were waiting to appear from the wings, they are simply not experienced enough to give britain a proper government.
