Today’s (25 Feb 2009) weather was quite nice, complete with this huge rainbow in the late afternoon. And no, i’m not assuming this rainbow’s Singapore’s biggest ever – the title’s just for SEO purposes.
Had clean forgotten i was thinking about you during yesterday’s afternoon shower. Well, you are The Rain afterall. I always wonder, if it were ever possible for it to be beautiful and rainy all at once – today’s rainbow was very apt, and a very beautiful answer. Still.
Anyways, i was walking from the bishan gym to Junction 8, and thought the moderate shower was ‘just nice’. Listening to Bach did help make it more pleasant. Never did realise how beautiful it was to walk in the rain till you, yet now it always reminds me of the pain of those years, and of how lonely it seems without you. Damned if i think of you, damned if i don’t.
Well, despite the iPhone’s crappy camera, i was kind of inspired by last weak’s private exhibition and reception at the Australian High Commission. So thought i’d do an amateurish version of my own journey (literally) in the rain:
