because things go bump in the night and on the web… be afraid of inanity and irony, be very afraid.
I’m really quite puzzled by my erratic performance in the gym.
Take the benchpress for example. My last gym session, just over a fortnight ago, saw me straining to clear 75kg on the Smith machine. But on Thursday I could comfortably press 95 for six (photo below).
I don’t think the sharp pain in my left shoulder has anything to do with this discrepancy.
And the fact that I have not been exercising frequently makes this all the more puzzling…

I tried this and just went ‘oh my God’.
Sweet but not too sweet and the ice is of the right consistency.
We complement each other I guess. He’s good at drinks while I’m at baking and cooking.

I’m sure they could have turned the hand a different direction or at least attach a bird to the finger…
Small cars are easy to park, as evidenced by this little China-made Chery.
Look at how much space there is on either side. Mum really needs to swap her current Chrysler Voyager for something more manageable. It’s actually bigger than a hummer – we pulled up alongside one several weeks back.
No way will I dare drive something that unwieldy when I get my license…
(On the side, I wonder if ‘Chery’ was a typo of ‘Cheery’ or ‘Cherry’. Either way, it evocates neither.)

Came across this frog-rabbit mutant at Isetan @ Shaw Centre.
I believe this sort of genetic engineering to be rather unfortunate.

The Japanese Government seeks the return of this rare Giant Hello Kitty artifact.
Giant Hello Kitties are known for their unusually silent disposition and their unique ability to consume cookies without a visible facial orifice. Given their Japanese origin, scientists postulate that this feat can only be achieved via teleportation or advanced hologram technology. Many too have hypothesised that these disproportioned felines carry out sophisticated telepathic communication via the pink ribbon on their heads. It has been recently discovered that other colours are not as potent. Furthermore, forcibly removing a Hello Kitty’s ribbon is known to either provoke extreme bouts of depression and tears, or, on the rare occasion, unbridled aggression that has unfortunately claimed the life of the miscreant.
I guess this is rather trivial, but i’d just like the world to know i regret adding the excess fibre from the juicer to my juice.
I’m now eating apple mush, instead of enjoying the juice.

This game is one thing I look forward to in 2010.
It’s been over a decade and yet the original Starcraft is still quite fun to play. And I love their storyline – beats their closest rival, the Red Alert and Command and Conquer franchises from Electronic Arts. And I’m sure they’d release an expansion pack soon after, for even more merriment.
Only thing that disappoints me are the stodgy Warcraft-esque graphics – that’s too blocky for me. I’d rather, say, a more realistic siege tank that actually looks and animates like a tank, as opposed to a cartoon river barge.
But good gosh – their movie cutscenes and artwork are simply stunning, if not one of the best in the industry. Why not a starcraft movie?

Hi all. Please don’t shoot me – I know it’s been a while since I last blogged.
Been uber busy this month.
But am looking forward to the last quarter of the year. Have several little interwebs rest stops that I’d like to develop. That’ll be seeing some action away from here.
And besides, electronic devices, computer included are really beginning to sap my energy.
So will do my best to keep this place updated. And speaking of that, I’ve never gotten round to actually properly designing this place – horrid and slightly off-sized banners in point.
Cheers people and Merry Christmas in case you guys don’t hear from me soon. :P
